Steve Wright is a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff in Verizon Corporate Network & Technology organization. Steve has been working for the company since 1972. He has a strong background in Central Office equipment including power, transport, switching, monitoring, office replacement and office additions. Steve has done Tier 2 support for both transport and switching. He has done testing on the Lucent 5E, Siemens EWSD and Nortel CS2K switch platforms before these products or services were put into the Verizon network at the Silver Spring lab from 2003 until joining the NEBS organization in September 2009.

Steve holds a Masters in Business Administration and under graduate degree in Economics. He has 1 patent with another 1 pending with the U.S. patent office on switch and transport related equipment.
