About Us
Verizon NEBS Compliance and Quality Assurance (NQA) is responsible to ensure all products installed in Verizon central offices meet the applicable Network Equipment Building System (NEBS) requirements. NQA is part of the Verizon Core Network and Technology Organization headquartered in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, and works closely with cross functional teams to select NEBS compliant equipment for its national communications network.
Verizon Systems Integration and Testing, which includes NQA, has been ISO 9001 certified since 1996, and has developed tools and implemented processes to ensure the retention of this valuable certification. These processes include all facettes of test planning, execution and reporting, in order to exceed customer expectations. NQA, in conjunction with Corporate Sourcing audits vendors to identify enhancements to the product development, delivery and support processes.
NQA has won the Verizon Excellence Award (VEA) in 1999, 2000, and in 2002. The VEA program honors and rewards the extraordinary contributions of those Verizon employees whose achievements in serving our customers, communities and company fulfill the Verizon Promise. This award is Verizon's highest honor and is a prestigious symbol of employee excellence. NQA, as a member of the System Integration & Testing team, was also the 2002 recipient of the Verizon Business Unit Excellence award for its excellence in supporting Verizon's corporate goals and objectives.
